29 June 2012 → CTI Swiss Medtech Award Submissions
4 September 2012 → CTI Swiss Medtech Best Poster Award Submissions
14 September 2012 → CTI Medtech Event Registration
For the tenth time, the CTI Medtech Event brings together the knowledge and expertise of the Swiss medical technology sector in the fields of research, production, distribution and services. Partnerships between medical technology companies and R&D institutions create successful products, which contribute to the leading position of Switzerland worldwide. The CTI Medtech Event 2012 will be a platform for connecting people: networking, debating and exchanging ideas - or even generating new ones. Participants will receive information on innovative technologies, interesting projects, new products and future-oriented services.
The CTI Medtech initiative has been part of the services of the Innovation Promotion Agency CTI since 1997, with more than 200 collaborative projects and 50 start-ups being supported by CTI in that time. This year’s Medtech Event will showcase successful projects, provide insights into current trends and share views and opinions about future developments in the field of medical technology.
In addition, the historical and cultural atmosphere of Lucerne in late September provides a perfect environment for scientific and professional networking.
This year’s event is part of The World Medtech Forum Lucerne ( 25 – 27 September 2012), consisting of a congress, a trade fair and meetings. The Forum unites the comprehensive and first-class expertise of the supply industry, science, research, and their sponsoring organisations. The domestic and international manufacturers of medical technology products are invited to use this collective expertise for the success of their business.
The CTI Medtech team looks forward to welcoming you to Lucerne in September, for a meeting that brings together the Swiss Medtech community.
Lutz-P. Nolte
Head CTI Medtech
I am very proud that so many people attend this event. Apparently CTI
is a valued partner for the Medtech sector - for academics as well as
for those who turn knowledge into money. I am particularly impressed
by the intense R&D activity of the Medtech Industry in Switzerland.
This makes it a perfect field for CTI funding.
